The Nicholson McBride e-learning portal is a service provided by Nicholson McBride Ltd to its clients. The following privacy notice applies only to data which you provide us with via the e-learning portal and does not cover links within this site to other websites.

Purposes for which your information will be processed

Nicholson McBride will process your data fairly and lawfully in compliance with the provisions of current data protection legislation. We will use the information provided only to fulfil our contractual requirements with our client and will only make the identifiable data available to the subject of the data, through a confidential report compiled from the data provided. 

The e-learning portal does not automatically capture or store personal information, other than logging your IP address and session information such as how long your visit lasted and the type of browser used. This is recognised by the web server and is only used for system administration and to provide statistics, which we use to evaluate how the site is used and to improve the experience for you.

We process your data to fulfil our part of the  contract with our client organisations.

Recipients of personal data

Your data will be accessible to Nicholson McBride employees and to the digital agency who build and manage the e-learning portal (Cursor). Cursor will access your data only for the purposes of technical support and to assist with the technical aspects of the compilation of individual reports, where necessary. For more information please see Cursor’s privacy policy. We will not transfer your data to any third parties. 

Data retention

Your data will be stored for two years, in order that individual subjects can request access to their report, should they require this. After 2 years of account inactivity, we will delete your account and your personal data. An anonymised copy of your data may be kept for purposes of statistical analysis, but all personally identifiable information will be removed.
